Error:

Response Reason Text => The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch. The address provided does not match billing address of cardholder.

The Address Verification System (AVS) is a system used to verify the address of a person claiming to own a credit card. The system will check the billing address of the credit card provided by the user with the address on file at the credit card company. The above error occurs because the address on file does not match the address provided by the credit card company. Please go to your profile page and verify that the address on file is correct. Please note that small details, like entering St., Rd. etc.. do make a difference. If you are not sure of your billing address you should take a look at how it's printed on your credit card statement or call your bank.

Possible side effects:

The payment gateway queries the bank to see if the address is correct and funds are available, some banks bank place a hold on the funds. If the purchase is not completed, then the hold is dropped from the funds within 1-3 days. If multiple queries were done, it's possible multiple holds on your bank accounts were placed. We recomend you call your bank for more information as there is very little we can do about this situation.
