In order to have your secure site (ie. https://www.mysite.com ), we need to assign a dedicated IP address for your site. To do this, we need a SSL certificate (a requirement from ICANN). You can buy a SSL certificate from ServerGrove which we will install, or you can buy it anywhere else.
To buy a SSL certificate you need to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request). You can generate one by going into your domain control panel, goto Certificates, Add new certificate, under name and domain name enter your full domain name as www.mysite.com and fill in the rest of the information with your data. Then press the Request button. This will generate the CSR. Please go to the certificate and copy all that is inside the CSR section. This is what you will need to order the certificate. If you are going to buy it from ServerGrove, send us this text and we will get the certificate installed. Otherwise, order the certificate and copy the certificate into the appropiate fields.
